This sounds like a fun project. Are you planning to dine alphabetically?

    • December 29, 2010 at 8:35 pm

Nope. The list is alphabetical because … well, I can’t help it 🙂

We’re going to randomly pick places with the caveat that if either of us utter the words “I don’t know” in answer to “Where do you want to go?” we have to go to one of the more, shall we say, “questionable” places.

I think the water (Shilshole Bay) would be a better eastern boundary. Rays has been here longer than most every restaurant on your list (you would also miss Paseo and Little Coney).

    • July 20, 2011 at 9:46 am

I thought about that but we wanted to stay within easy walking distance of our apartment. If we do go down to Ray’s or Paseo, I’ll write up reviews for them.

Love reading your blog. We just moved to Ballard and reading about all the places you went to eat makes me very excited to try them out as well. Thanks for sharing!

Sort of makes sense but Rays is only two blocks further and you’re going all the way to the Ravioli Station in Fremont-ish. Good luck, I like what you’re doing!

missed the 2 Bit. If it’s not Taco Tuesday, there’s always some sort of tasty BBQ going on.

    • July 20, 2011 at 11:32 am

After some investigation, I would have to judge that the 2 Bit falls into the “Bars with a limited menu” category which puts it outside the rules we came up with for this project. Granted, I wouldn’t mind trying some tasty BBQ …

Your opinion smells like your posterior. You don’t even post your name so your words lack credibility. Too bad you don’t have anything else better to do with your life.

Love your blog. Delighted to find you in searching for intelligence on Ballard Thai restaurants. Any chance you have Thai Siam and Wild Orchid (both Thai places up near 80th) on your list to review in 2012? Anyway, I’m an immediate fan.

Great information, thanks. My wife and I just moved here from Atlanta.
J – my wife is originally from Pittsburgh…she would like to know if you know of any Steelers bars in the area?

    • April 30, 2012 at 10:27 pm

Well, there’s one super Steeler fan at Norm’s in Fremont but other than that, after the Steeler-Seahawk Super Bowl, I’m afraid Steeler fans aren’t exactly very welcome in Seattle. As a Steeler fan, you just have to get used to the bitter, whiney Seahawk fans. 😉
